The Heart Of T.C.B

The movie “Passion of Christ” paints a beautiful story of love, the powerful love for us. His whole life was dedicated and focus on saving us. Christ’s story is parallels to the heart of TCB. It was the birth of the baby Jesus that change the world. For me, it was the same in 1983 when my firstborn announce her presence and my whole world changed. Holding that new life created a passion and a mission for me. I’m not sure if mission is a correct word…but I felt a strong calling, and the calling was loud, the passion was intense, and LOVE became REAL. Love became intentional.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life”. John 3:16.

I wanted that precious soul to feel and know a love like no other. As my other children came, God had given me a heartbeat-like no other. My rhythm continued as a stay at home mom. With my first baby, I wanted a backup plan, so I enrolled in college. When I was younger, I had a passion for traveling, so naturally, I wanted to be an airline stewardess. I love being in new places and learning new things. But I just didn’t know how flying all over the world would work with children. During College, I was drawn to childcare class. There’s no school for parents so why not start here. Jesus had a plan all along. While my firstborn and I went to school,  I had a goal to become the best parent I could be. Again God had a backup plan I would become a Teacher.

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers”; Ephesians 4:11-16.

So after a couple of years and more children, I needed to earn more money…naturally, I started babysitting as I did at the age of 15. I homeschooled my childern and worked as a bus monitor until they became teens. Once they left home I taught in the public school system for eight years. Until my daughter became ill in 2016 so we relocated to Jacksonville Florida. At that point, I asked God now what? Shortly I received a call from my niece who had just had a baby, and the answer became clear. Childern, my passion, my mission.

“Everything I have done was for the perfecting of /me/the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ”. Ephesians 4: 12.

My calling paralleled with the greatest commandment.

“To love God and to love others”. Matthew 22:36-40.

Who says that the Lord did not have a purpose for my life? There’s a song called, Luv Is A Verb by DC Talk. The lyrics say, How much more love could the Son of God give? Here is the example that we ought to match. ‘Cause love is a word that requires some action.

T.C.B. is the passion of Christ and a ministry that has a heart that beats with action of compassion, care, and concern. You and your child/ren have a special place to grow and know to LOVE of God.

“You can make many plans, but the Lord’s

purpose will prevail”. Proverbs 19:2.
